Born and raised in Brantford, Dennis was intrigued with eyewear from an early age. His lifelong interest in Opticinary was inspired by his father, Bill Dickens, who with Alf Clark started Avenue Optical in 1968. After becoming licensed by The College of Opticians of Ontario in 1981, Dennis joined the company full-time, and over the years, he has amassed an impressive 50 years of experience in the optical industry.

Since taking over Avenue Optical, Dennis has transformed the business by offering excellent customer service and innovative, independent eyewear brands. Eyewear that's fun to wear!
